Meet Alice, our newest family member. We got her as a gift for our daughters 4th birthday.
When she first saw the fish, she started crying, really sadly, saying she wanted a toy to play with. Big tears and long hugs for a bit. Then she realized that the fish was pretty cool, and got very excited.
This is what it is to be four years old, pure sorrow and pure joy, back-to-back. The honesty is inspiring and highly unpredictable.
